• All photographs taken during the wedding are for private use only and will not be used in publications or advertisements. This also includes posting photos or videos on Instagram, Facebook or other like Social Media sites. 
• In consideration of our fellow Members and Guests, the Club has a policy on the use of laptops, cell phones, e-readers, iPads and other tablets, and similar electronic devices with which all Club Members and Guests are asked to comply. The use of these devices for any of their intended purposes is permitted in Club cottages, Club guestrooms, the Clubhouse second floor conference room, and private automobiles. Except as required in case of emergency, their use is allowed elsewhere only if in silent mode and not as a telephone.
• Tennis whites and proper shoes are required at all times on all courts.
• A New York State Fishing License is required of all person over 16 years of age. State licenses are not issued by the Club; Fishing licenses can be purchased online at www.dec.ny.gov under the "Permits & Licenses" tab. 
• Fireworks are prohibited on the Club campus, at Cottage locations and in the Reserve at all times. There are no exceptions to this policy. 
• Domestic pets including dogs are not permitted in Club rooms, Cottages and in the Reserve. Pets are not to be brought to events held on Club property.

Can I arrive earlier than Thursday or stay later than Sunday?

• Yes, if you would like to extend your stay past the Thursday - Saturday Night Package pricing please contact the club for the cost. 

Do I need to call the club directly to make a room reservation?

• No, please indicate on the RSVP tab that you would like to stay on Property. The Bride and Groom will then complete the room assignments and place you in a room. Two weeks prior to the event you will receive a confirmation email directly from the club.

Can I pay with a Credit Card?

• No, we only accept payment in cash, check or debit card.

When is payment due?

• Payment is taken in full at checkout. We do not require any deposit and will not keep a card on file to automatically charge.

What are the nearby airports to fly into?

• Albany International Airport
• Burlington International Airport
• Plattsburgh International Airport 
• Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport

Please note that the Ausable Club is still located about 2 hours from these major airports. It is our best recommendation that you rent a car to continue your travel to the club. 

Are taxi or uber services available? 

• Taxis are available from Lake Placid or Burlington but Uber is not prevalent in the area. 

If I am staying at the Ausable Club, will I need a car to get to the different events being hosted for the wedding?

• No, everything is held right on campus. Once you arrive you can park the car for the whole weekend!
